Sun Java System Messaging Server Technical Frequently Asked Questions
This independent Technical FAQ for Sun Java System Messaging Server and iPlanet Messaging Server provides answers to frequently asked questions relating to the deployment, installation, and administration of Messaging Server. This wiki is open to contributions from everyone and while everyone involved will attempt to make sure the content is accurate and up to date, this cannot be guaranteed.
Important update: As of July 9, 2007 this wiki contains reference pages describing most of the channel keywords the MTA supports. This material was generated automatically from the new XML-based product configuration subsystem that is planned for a future Messaging Server release. Eventually these pages will be expanded to describe all product options. There are some important terminology changes associated with the new material. In particular, since all configuration settings will be called options channel keywords are referred to as channel options on these pages.
Note: If newer revisions of linked-to documents on docs.sun.com become available, use the newer ones instead of those listed in the answer pages.
