Does Messaging Server support push email?

Messaging Server 6.3 (released March 2007) and above supports IMAP IDLE, also known as push email.

Messaging Server 7.0 (released July 2008) provides support for the IMAP and SMTP extensions as described in Lemonade Profile 1.

Known clients that support IMAP IDLE include:

 * Mozilla Thunderbird (enabled by default if server has IMAP-IDLE capability)
 * Apple Mail 2.x with IMAP-IDLE plugin (http://www.rothwell.us/imapidle/index.html)
 * Apple Mail 3.x (As shipped in Mac OS X 10.5)
 * FlexMail 2007 for Windows Mobile (http://www.pocketinformant.com/p_webismail.php)
 * chatter email for Palm Treo (http://www.chatteremail.com/)
